“Dead Men Talking”: Max Cullen & Warren Fahey + The Larrikins

Sunday 6 August @ 6.00pm – 9.00pm | Ticket price: $31 pre-sale and on the door | Bookings: https://www.trybooking.com/294148
“Dead Men Talking” – the brain child of actor, Max Cullen, and writer, historian and musician, Warren Fahey – pays homage to the legacies of Australia’s literary giants, Henry Lawson and Banjo Paterson, in a 90-minute show of song, verse and story. The evening will begin with a set of good old bush songs and yarns from Warren’s band, The Larrikins.
Australia’s two favourite bards, Henry Lawson and Banjo Paterson, meet up in the Leviticus Bar & Grill, Heaven’s Gate, to yarn about old times, changed circumstance, literary legacies, and their infamous ‘war of words’ in The Bulletin Magazine. They sing, recite and banter about life. It’s enough to make the angels weep!
“Dead Men Talking” appears to have hit a solid nostalgic note with audiences who delight in seeing Lawson and Paterson back strutting the centre stage, and the show has been “packing them in” across Australia.
